The Princeton Equestrian League provides an opportunity for Hunter, Jumper and Equitation riders of all levels to compete throughout the PEL season for Year End Awards and the Princeton Equestrian League National Finals at Princeton Show Jumping in Skillman, NJ.
The 2025 Season includes shows from September 2, 2024 - August 31, 2025.

All points earned at PEL sanctioned horse shows will go towards the Year End Awards that will be presented at the PEL Banquet during the PEL Finals at Princeton Show Jumping. You do not need to be at the Finals in order to win a fabulous prize!!
Separate PEL Finals awards will be awarded at the Finals. The posted order of go for each finals class is determined by the year end results.
Horses and riders will qualify in a division based on points earned during the qualifying period. Points will be recorded only if the rider of record is a current Princeton Equestrian League member. A horse or rider may accrue points in any division for which they are eligible. Riders may earn points in multiple divisions. Horses may earn points in multiple divisions, with multiple riders, as long the rider of record is a current PEL member.
Points will be awarded in every class in a division as long as the rider is a PEL member at the time of the show.
Points are awarded through 6th place.
Classes with 30 or more entries: 1st - 28, 2nd - 20, 3rd - 16, 4th - 12, 5th - 8, 6th - 4
Classes with 20-29 entries: 1st - 21, 2nd - 15, 3rd - 12, 4th - 9, 5th - 6, 6th - 3
Classes with 11-19 entries: 1st - 14, 2nd - 10, 3rd - 8, 4th - 6, 5th - 4, 6th - 2
Classes with 4-10 entries: 1st - 7, 2nd - 5, 3rd - 4, 4th - 3, 5th - 2, 6th - 1
Classes with 1-3 entries: 1st - 3, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 1
Divisions and classes may be combined or split at the discretion of horse show management. Eligible PEL riders and horse/rider combinations will still earn points in their specified division according to ribbon won.
